Northwestern Empire’s team has been applauding the work of our local doctors, nurses and first responders who find themselves on the front lines of the battle against the novel coronavirus.
With the statewide lockdown still being in effect we have begun to plan for the future in a world that won’t soon forget the coronavirus. We appreciate the community support and plan to get our operation up and running again once it is deemed safe by local and national authorities. Once we are able to again begin operations we will focus on what we can do to promote the safety of our team members and our passengers. Some of the measures we will be taking will include constant sanitation of all passenger and team cars, increased 15 foot social distancing from those who you do not already share close social distance with, and an appreciation program for our doctors, nurses, hospital staff and first responders. We want you to know that we appreciate everything you are doing and even just staying home, away from the public, is an important and necessary step to the recovery of our communities. Stay home now and travel far later! From your friends at Northwestern Empire, we appreciate your sacrifices.
